Malaysia's esports community is one of the most active and passionate in Southeast Asia. Every week, thousands of fans pack cyber cafes, tune into streams on Twitch and YouTube, and debate team strategies across Discord and Telegram. At Genting888, we understand that passion — and we built an esports betting platform that genuinely respects the knowledge and enthusiasm of local fans.
Unlike mainstream betting platforms that treat e-sports as a side section in their menu, Genting888 fully invested in the esports ecosystem. This means deeper markets, more competitive odds, and broader tournament coverage — from local leagues like MPL Malaysia to international stages like The International and Worlds.
If there's one game that truly resonates with Malaysian players, it's Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. From secondary school to university, from Johor Bahru to Kota Kinabalu, MLBB is the shared language of our esports community. MPL Malaysia, held twice a year, consistently draws hundreds of thousands of viewers, and teams like Todak have carried the Malaysian flag onto the international stages of MSC and the M-Series.
At Genting888, we offer full coverage of all MPL Malaysia and MSC matches. Far beyond simple win/loss markets — we have map handicaps, total kills, first map winner, first team to secure Baron/Lord, and a wide range of in-play markets updated every second as the action unfolds. This is the level of coverage previously only found on major international platforms, and it's now available at Genting888 built exclusively for Malaysian players.
For those who grew up with DotA Allstars and Counter-Strike 1.6, Genting888 hasn't forgotten you either. DOTA2 The International remains the world's largest esports tournament by prize pool, with winnings that can reach tens of millions of dollars. The CS2 Major, meanwhile, is the annual celebration of the shooter community — one that has never lost its relevance across more than two decades.
Platform Genting888 offers over 200 different markets for each DOTA2 and CS2 match at select stages. You can bet on the overall tournament winner, each team's group stage performance, individual match winners, total maps played, kill handicaps, and a range of specialty markets designed for fans who truly know the game.
Since its launch in 2020, Valorant has grown at a remarkable pace in Malaysia. A strong local player base, active support from Riot Games for the Asia Pacific region, and the rise of VCT Pacific make Valorant one of the most exciting esports titles to follow and bet on. Genting888 covering every VCT Pacific match and Masters with odds that are constantly updated to reflect the latest meta shifts and team performance.

One of the most exciting aspects of e-sports betting at Genting888 is the in-play betting feature. Unlike traditional sports where momentum shifts gradually, e-sports can turn on a dime. A single ace in CS2, a wipe in DOTA2, or a pentakill in League of Legends can completely flip the momentum of a match.
Platform Genting888 built to handle the pace of these changes. Our odds are updated almost instantly to reflect in-game conditions, letting you act fast whenever you spot an opportunity. If your favourite team is falling behind but you believe they can stage a comeback, you can take advantage of the higher odds at that moment — making the eventual win all the sweeter.
If you're new to esports betting, there are a few fundamentals worth understanding before you start. First, knowledge of the game itself is your biggest edge. Players who follow the current MLBB meta, who know which teams perform on specific maps in CS2, or who keep up with roster changes — they generally make sharper decisions than those who simply back big-name teams.
Second, don't overlook the latest stats and performance records. At Genting888, we provide team information and performance records to help you make more informed assessments. A team on a five-match winning streak may well be riding strong momentum — but it's worth checking whether those wins came against comparable opponents or weaker ones.
Third, manage your betting budget wisely. Esports betting, like all forms of gambling, should be treated as entertainment with costs you can keep in check. Genting888 offers daily and weekly deposit limit features in your account settings — use them to make sure you always play within your means.
Bet on Genting888 means you get the most convenient payment options available to Malaysians. Every deposit and withdrawal method we support is a local method you already use in your daily life. You can deposit via FPX (directly through Maybank2u or CIMB Clicks), DuitNow Transfer using your phone number or IC number, Touch 'n Go eWallet, GrabPay, Boost, or ShopeePay.
The minimum deposit for e-sports betting is just RM 10 — enough to get your esports betting experience started without taking on significant risk. Winnings are processed within 15 minutes for most withdrawals, so your funds are always within your full control.

Tips from the perspective of players who truly understand Malaysian esports.
The game meta shifts with every patch or update. Teams that dominated under the old meta may struggle in the new one. Always stay current before placing your bets.
Roster changes can have a major impact on a team's performance. A single star player lost to injury or transfer can completely shift a team's strength.
Some teams have a mental block against certain opponents even when they are the stronger side overall. Head-to-head (H2H) records give you a fuller picture.
Group stage and playoff matches carry different kinds of pressure. Teams often hold back strategies for the more critical rounds of a tournament.
In-play betting at Genting888 lets you react to the momentum of a match. Wait through the first few minutes to read the situation before placing your bet.
Enjoy e-sports betting as an extension of your viewing experience. Set a daily limit in your Genting888 account settings and stick to it.
